Refreshed by His Spirit

"He shall come down like rain... as showers that water the earth." [Ps. 72:6]

I enjoy rainy days.

I love the steady, relaxing drizzle... the low distant rumble... and the clean, refreshing feeling that always follows a good rain.

I also love the way rainy days remind me of how much I need to be refreshed and refilled with God's grace.
"Thank You, Lord, for Your Spirit Who rains down and refreshes our dry and empty souls, for filling us with nothing less than You."
